I hate this time of the year. ESPN Top Plays are nothing but outfielders making catches and infielders diving for a grounder and turning two. Doesn’t matter what day it is, that’ll be 1-10. This catch was pretty good for college standards. The kid really laid out for it. The dive was necessary. The flip afterwards was not, however. Total showboat move by Brett here. I respect showboating, but I don’t grade on it. Brett has done this catch before. This catch is a 7 at best. You want a 9 or a 10? Scorpion yourself into an injury while making the catch.
