How To Lose A Push In 10 Days: The Jack Swagger Story

TMZ.com – WWE star Jack Swagger was arrested last night in Mississippi, TMZ has learned — after allegedly driving under the influence … with pot in his car.

Sources close to the situation tell TMZ, Swagger — real name Jacob Hager — was leaving a “Smackdown” taping at Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi when he was pulled over for speeding.

According to law enforcement, the officer who pulled him over determined Swagger was driving under the influence — and a search revealed Swagger was in possession of marijuana. We’re told Swagger — a former WWE World Heavyweight champ — was taken in by local sheriff’s deputies … and later released on his own recognizance. He has been charged with DUI, marijuana possession, and speeding — all misdemeanors.

We reached out to WWE, who tells TMZ, “Mr. Swagger is responsible for his own personal actions.”

Well everyone fighting against Jack Swagger and Zeb Coulter’s character like 15 minutes ago can be happy to know that Jack Swagger most likely just ruined both of their current careers.  It’d be highly unlikely that WWE continues Jack Swagger’s push for the Heavyweight Title.  And this just makes it easier to do away with the storyline which has been under criticism.  I knew I hated Jack Swagger.  Nothing like ruining a good thing.  You disappear for months on end after you do nothing with your career, and then WWE brings you back for a huge push.  One that’ll bring you to Wrestlemania- the Super Bowl of wrestling, and what do you do with it?  You speed with marijuana in your car.  I know people speed.  I speed.  Its dumb, I know.  But its more dumb to speed when you have illegal shit in your car.  I’m driving like a Christian home-schooled boy if I have marijuana in my car.  Shit I drive like that with alcohol in my car even when I’m not drinking and that shit is legal.  Swagger must have also forgot that the WWE tests for marijuana and will suspend him for it.  Your first wellness policy failure is a suspension for 30 days, followed by 60 and then the loss of your job.  According to the internet, Swagger hasn’t had a failed test before so 30 days would have been his suspension when caught, whenever that was.  I bet he’ll be getting tested rather soon now.  Thanks for ruining a good thing, bruh.  You really are a Real American.  Speeding, smoking weed, and alcohol.  Every Americans top 3 lifestyle choices.  Can’t wait until you’re losing to guys like Health Slater again.  Enjoy being a gimmick, fill-in wrestler.
