411Mania – Conservative Alex Jones has slammed WWE over the Zeb Coulter character, saying that the company is “creating a racist wrestler to demonize the Tea Party.” Jones, who was one of the people who Lawler joked last night was “sending fan mail” to Jack Swagger and Coulter, wrote on his website, InfoWars.com that Swagger is being positioned as a Tea Party heel before he faces Alberto Del Rio at WrestleMania.
The site also notes Linda McMahon’s unsuccessful Senate run, saying, “This is part of the divide and conquer tactic of cultural subversion to manufacture racial division and to characterize the Tea Party, conservatives, libertarians, opponents of uncontrolled illegal immigration, and constitutionalists as racist, extremist radicals who should be pushed to the fringes of the political discourse. Now the demonization runs so deep that it’s even being bolstered by WWE wrestling. The fact that WWE is owned by Vince and Linda McMahon, who are part of the Republican establishment, also tells us a lot about how grass roots conservatives and libertarians are viewed by those near the top of the power structure.”
Hey, Sports Reporter, why do you hate politics so much. Oh, that’s an easy question. I hate them because of guys like Alex Jones. I hate them for people who look for far into things that they attempt to ruin all that is around us. Everything has to be about racism, or sexism, or conservatism, or liberalism, or some kind of ‘ism’ that pisses me the fuck off. No, the WWE didn’t create Zeb Coulter’s character to bash the Tea Party and whatever else he means when he says its an attempt to ‘divide and conquer tactic of cultural subversion to manufacture racial division and to characterize the Tea Party, conservatives, libertarians, opponents of uncontrolled illegal immigration, and constitutionalists as racist, extremist radicals who should be pushed to the fringes of the political discourse.’ And even if they did, isn’t that a part of their free speech as a business to be allowed to express their feelings? I do it everyday on Water Cooler. I’d hate if some doucher politician got to telling me that what I could and couldn’t say. Once again, defeating the freedom of speech we’re all ‘deemed’ to have, but no one actually wants us to have it.
All the political correct people go around saying please don’t go out saying things or doing anything that may upset someone. Uh, sorry, but that could be anything. That would mean no guns, no cars, no equality between sexes or races, comedians would have no job, bloggers would have no job, reporters would have no job, movies would all have to be rated-G, music like heavy metal, punk rock, hip hop, and all rap would be shunned. Basically what I’m getting at is that we’d all be living in a vanilla world with white walls and white outfits. We’d all look like each other and all we’d be allowed to say would be, ‘hello’ and ‘goodbye.’ Now, this is a little drastic, I get that, but so are all these freedom of speech complaints.
With all due respect, Alex, fuck you. Fuck you. Fuck you. The WWE has been on a decline for the past I don’t even know how many years., let’s just safely say about 5-6. Their PG Era was a disappointment to many fans even though it brought it a lot of money for the company with its younger viewers. The programs started to become bland and boring. Everything was predictable, and was hardly worth watching. Now, they become edgier again. They bring out a character that every true fan has loved so far. Yes, he’s a heel, but the character is loved. Its finally something new, something different. Not because he’s ‘racist,’ but because it brings entertainment to the business. It creates a watchable show. We want to see what’s going to happen next.
This storyline they’re creating with Jack Swagger and Zeb Coulter against Del Rio and his ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez if anything is reverse racism for America’s standard. Jack Swagger is the heel, the wrestler hated by the fans. Alberto Del Rio is the the face, the mexican aristocrat, the fan favorite. The WWE is basically telling everyone Jack Swagger is bad, Del Rio is good. This storyline is top notch. This is what wrestling was like back in the day. This is what it was like when everyone watched. Back when divas were running around doing bra and panty matches, Stone Cold was cussing up a storm, and dudes were jumping off scaffolds to attack one another. DX was telling everyone to suck their dicks like 3 years ago and no one got pissy off that. But somehow its awful that they bring in a political issue to their storyline. One that may mock many politicians actual beliefs.
Politicians need to take a back seat and just do their jobs. You’re not brought into office to make sure no one makes fun of you, or to fight things that you deem harmful to your image. You’re brought in to govern. To work for the people. We The People.
By the way, they nailed Jack Swagger’s new entrance music. Props to WWE on that.
