I have been golfing since I was about 10 years old. There’s nothing I would rather be doing when the weather is nice. Bad round or no bad round. & we’ve all had bad rounds. The shots where you pick your head up. The shots where you skull the shit out of a chip. Or the shots that consistently slice. God I hate those damn shots. I swear its my driver, not me. All right, back to the post. The one thing you never see is a pro golfer committing any of the “amateur” golfer mistakes. At least not during a televised tournament. It always made me think that those shots were edited out. They had to be. No one can consistently make great shot after great shot after great shot. I grew up idolizing Tiger Woods for that very reason. That man was a machine. & I still believe he is. He’s just not mentally in the game yet. & golf is 90% mental, 10% physical. However, that’s for another post. This one has to do with pro golfer Kevin Na. Fans of golf know who he is. He’s the man who shot a 16 on a par 4. That’s twelve over par on one hole. Twelve over for an entire 18 hole round would be a shock for any pro golfer. Never mind it being for only one hole. But, that’s not it for Na. Nope he did this at the 15th hole during a third round in Las Vegas:
Now he claims he had no intentions of actually swinging to make contact. I however, find that very hard to believe. & if he’s honestly telling the truth, then he has the fastest, most intense practice swing I have ever seen.
